I won Wayward Son through the Goodreads First Read Giveaway on 06/19/2011 and received it on 06/29/2011!

Wayward Son. Man. I started reading the book and really getting into it, then all of the sudden ... we're back in B.C. times following biblical characters around. I had no idea that this is what the book would be like. I thought it was going to be about a woman going on an archaeological dig. It's still about that, but there is A LOT of back story. It still pertains to the story, I just wasn't expecting it. AT ALL.

It wasn't a bad book and I might reread it sometime but it wasn't on my list of 'I have to reread this right now'. It's interesting and covers a lot of stuff throughout history that I found captivating in it's own way.

All in all, it was a pretty good book.
