Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood, Book 1)
I was very reluctant to read this book because of the hype around it ... but it was pretty good! I found myself getting really invested in the characters and what was going on. I also found myself starting the second one in the series immediately after I finished this one. Dead Until Dark is a good book that I'll probably read again because in my rush to find out what happened, I'm sure I missed a few details.
You know how that is. All in all ... good book. Give it a try if you like the vampire/paranormal books. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
